The Portcemen Terminal is located at Contradic Sud Wharf of 225 m long, that allows serving vessels with up to 12 m draft, i.e. fully laden Handymax carriers of around 40k dwt. The max loading speed reaches 1,100 t/h for clinker and 500 t/h for bagged cement. Cargo is transported from the storages to the berth by trucks. Storage is provided by 12 silos, half for cement and half for clinker; each silo is capable of holding up to 6,000 t of cargo.
The maximum annual capacity of the terminal reaches 1 mln t.
