Grain handling tariff at Constanta port remains below €5/t despite rumors about huge increase

Despite recent rumors about huge increase of grain loading tariff at the port of Constanta, the representatives of local grain terminals said to ISM that the grain loading tariff still amounts to €3.5-4.5/t.

It is to be reminded that Constanta grain terminals are congested now due to extremely active arrival of barges, trucks and freight cars with Ukrainian grain meant for further loading onto seagoing vessels. Meanwhile, Ukrainian ports continue to be blocked by Russian military forces as the war between Russia and Ukraine drags on.
