- The volume of grain enroute (at sea) has inched up from 4.35 to 4.55 million tons amid increased volumes seen towards Algeria, Egypt, Spain and Lebanon;

- The volume of discharged grain has plunged from 1.94 to 1.47 million tons (-24%), while the number of discharged vessels has dropped to 90 (-8%);
- Italy, Tunisia and Libya are the only countries that have shown an increase in volumes of imported (discharged) grains.
