Panamax/Kamsarmax freight levels moving sideways in Asia-Pacific region

Panamax/Kamsarmax rates so far look largely unchanged in the Asia-Pacific region. The traffic of Indonesian coal can still be called the main local driver, while slow coal exports from Aus raise owners’ concerns:
LME owners are seeking to get $23k daily bss DOP dely S.China via Indo redel Spore-Japan, while charterers bid at $20-21k daily;
A Panamax ship has been chartered at $22k daily bss DOP dely Guangzhou via Indo redel India;
A Kamsarmax vessel has been fixed at $25k daily bss DOP dely Fangcheng via Indo redel India;
A Post-Panamax carrier has been chartered at $21k daily bss DOP dely Taiwan via E.Kali redel Taiwan;
On the voyage basis, transportation of 80,000 t of coal from Semirara to Samcheonpo with June 22-28 laycans is negotiated at $15.78/t.
As for coal traffic from Australia:
The LME time charter bss DOP dely CJK via E.Aus redel S.Korea is quoted by brokers at $21-22k daily, that bss redel India is also estimated by brokers at $21-22k daily. However, the latter option is more preferable for owners in case of further ballasting to ECSA;
The deal for a Kamsarmax ship bss DOP dely Japan via E.Aus redel Spore-Japan has been signed at $24k daily;
The contract for a similar vessel bss DOP dely Manila via E.Aus redel Spore-Japan is negotiated at $26-27k daily;
A Post-Panamax carrier has been chartered at $20k daily bss DOP dely N.China via E.Aus redel Malaysia.
As for coal exports from CIS:
The deal for a Panamax vessel bss DOP dely CJK via CIS redel Spore-Japan is negotiated at $24-25k daily.
