With regard to CIS RVs, Supramax/Ultramax owners still get a healthy premium for such trips:

On the voyage basis, transportation of 55,000 t of coal from Vanino to Shanghai is quoted by ISM at $25.5/t with 12,000c/12,000c l/d rates.
The NOPAC sector also remains unattractive, with limited number of fresh requests ex PNW ports:
