Capesize segment remains dull in Eastern Hemi

The Capesize market has softened slightly further in the Eastern Hemi, particularly amid languid iron ore exports from Aus:
Carrying 170,000 t of ore from W.Aus to Qingdao is estimated by ISM at $12.5-13/t;
The deal for transportation of a Capesize lot of ore from Dampier to Qingdao with late June laycans is rumored to have been signed at $12.4/t. A similar contract has been concluded at $12.15/t.
As for coal traffic from Aus, shipment of a Capesize lot of coal from Newcastle to CJK is estimated by ISM at $19-20/t.
As for iron ore exports from S.Afr, carrying a Capesize lot of ore from Saldanha Bay to Qingdao is estimated by ISM at $23-24/t.
